The Cosmic Audition

In India, we have a story about a man who was the perfect model of respectability, who always did what the letter of the law demanded. When he died, he was taken before Chitragupta, the Cosmic Auditor.
Chitragupta looked at the man’s record. There was not a single entry on the debit page. He was impressed. Then he turned to the credit page and stared in astonishment. This page, too, was completely blank. Chitragupta didn’t know what to do. The man had never helped anybody, never hurt anybody, never offended anybody, never loved anybody.
He couldn’t be sent to heaven, but he couldn’t be sent to hell either.

So Chitragupta took him to Brahma, The God of Creation, and said, “You made this guy. What shall I do with him?”

Lord Brahma looked at the statute books and couldn’t find a precedent to cover the case, so he said, “Take him to Krishna.”
Lord Krishna said, “The buck stops here.” He examined the records very carefully and there, almost illegible, was an ancient credit entry: “Gave two cents to a beggar at the age of six.”

“There,” Sri Krishna said, “Return his two cents and send him back to earth to try again.”

Until we have learned to give freely of ourselves, we have not learned how to live. Give to the world what you desire the world to give you... and do that with all your love because Love has no errors, for all errors are the want of love :)

And as The Corinthians 11 states beautifully, “God loveth a cheerful giver.”

True helpfulness comes from connection, not from words.

The Wisdom of Sufi Mysticism

A Sufi master was sitting quietly, when a group of men came to punish him for the wrongs he was accused of committing. The men rained blows on the Sufi master, hitting him a thousand times. Yet, the master remained silent and no sign of pain appeared on his face. After they had finished beating him, the men took the Sufi master to the court. The judges asked, " How did you suffer no pain when you were beaten? " The master replied: " When the men were raining blows on me, my beloved wife was looking on. Her love made the pain seem easier. Then I thought that, if the loving gaze of a human being can ease pain, the Loving Gaze of God can eliminate pain altogether. "

The Extent of His Grace

No matter how great your Faith and trust in the Divine Grace, no matter how great your capacity to see it at work in all circumstances, at every moment, at every point in life, you will never succeed in understanding the marvellous immensity of Its Action, and the precision, the exactitude with which this Action is accomplished: you will never be able to grasp to what extent His Grace does everything, is behind everything, organises everything, conducts everything, so that the march forward to the Divine Realization may be as swift, as complete, as total and harmonious as possible, considering the circumstances of the world. As soon as you are in contact with Him, there is not a second in time, not a point in space, which does not show you dazzlingly this perpetual work of Grace, and His constant intervention. And once you have seen this, you feel you are never equal to it, for you should never forget it, never have any fears, anguish, regrets, recoils...or even suffering. If one were in Union with this Grace, if one saw Him everywhere, one would begin living a life of exultation, of all-power, of Infinite happiness. And that would be the Best possible Collaboration
in The Divine Work.

Praise The Lord!

It feels great to be back, after a long hiatus : ) Its been a long holiday of sorts only from blogging, not otherwise (oh, how I crave for a never-ending one ;) Life has been giving me so many experiences and showing me such hues of emotions, all blended together to make me a better and a stronger human being. Often I find myself so vulnerable and sensitive to the different events and happenings of life that I fail to figure out the real hidden me ;)

Veiled underneath layers of personal desires, the silly but huge ego-trap, expectations of my loved ones, passion to grow, excel in becoming better and attaining a calm, blissful composure, my emotional wants, and well, the list is endless…!

But yes, this break did open my eyes to reality, reminded me of the value and importance of love and togetherness which we so often take for granted in more ways than one, taught me the vital virtue of having immense patience, for in the times of adversity, God is verily with those who are patient: so beautifully says The Quran : )

I spent so much of my time in plain silence, just with myself trying and getting to know me! We all feel so alone at some point of time and its in that defining moment where some aspect of realization shines and smiles upon our dusty souls and we strongly feel that we belong to Him..Maybe we are His chosen ones, and that’s the only consolation for all that melodrama which takes place in our daily life!
Heartbreaks, failures, loss, sadness, unhappiness, crisis, loneliness, illness, death of a loved one…no matter what, He is closest to us than all the other happy times…Remember that beautiful story of God and the footprints? So often we feel He has deserted us and is so far but the truth is that He has picked us up and is carrying us in His arms :)) This is one of my favourite stories and it has such a special place in my heart!!

Coming back to all my Beautiful souls…I have been missing you all so much, the beauty and those magical words full of love and wisdom so often has filled this little, naughty and restless heart with unceasing joy! It has been a real blessing that I had got some very encouraging and heart warming emails wherein it was such a motivation to get back to blogging …something that I am so fond of : not to mention the lovely souls who I have met and conversed with through the blog :))
Thank you so much for making my life such a beautiful journey and the love and encouragement that you all have offered me through your mails :) It really means so much to me.
Looking forward to tread along this Blessed Path with you all once again hand in hand!

My Dear Beautiful Souls,

Its been a very hectic month and I haven’t been able to post regularly and do the thing I so dearly love- Blogging and visiting all you friends!!

“The noise made by all the words, all the ideas in your head is so deafeaning that it prevents you from hearing the Truth when it wants to be manifested. ”says, The Mother and this statement perfectly describes my current state of mind!
When life gives you a hoard of things to be accomplished and puts on you unlimited expectations coupled with a rising workload, it seems so hard to find the time to do what makes you feel at Bliss. I haven’t been able to concentrate on reading new books, writing or finding the time to share with you all what is close to my heart.

So dear ones, I am off on a self imposed short hibernation for a few weeks till I find some inspiration and a little time to put up something nice on the blog! Also this time I would be trying to put up more from (Thoughts from my Spiritual Diary) Its been quite a while though!

Till then, I am leaving you all with loads of Love and my heartfelt prayers :)
