Thoughts from my Spiritual Diary-14

When God leaves you at the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully. Either 1 of the two things will happen….Either He will catch you when you fall or He will teach you to fly!!!!

This one strong thought has been with me all through thick and thin and time and again taught me some priceless lessons as I celebrate this journey called Life :)

Even today when I hit rock bottom and my life turns into a state of Inertia…..Where my sense of spiritual consciousness shatters the rhythms of my little heart and my Faith takes a huge beating and goes for a long ride…I deep down know that My Eternal Soulmate is definitely upto something! And its time to roll up my sleeve and learn a mighty lesson right from the Master of masters ;)

I have learnt many and I am still learning..i never want to grow up completely ( I love my ageless soul a bit too much ;) and everytime someone tells me of how mature I have become and when my ego swells up a bit, this quote of Mahatma Gandhi brings me back to Reality and gives me a much needed jolt!

He says “ Old as I am in age, I have no feeling that I I have ceased to grow inwardly or that my growth will stop at the dissolution of this flesh. What I am concerned with is my readiness to obey the call of Truth…My God, from moment to moment, no matter how inconsistent it may appear. My commitment is to Truth, to Him, not to consistency.”

And after many gruelling and satisfying years I learnt some of the life altering lessons.

One of the very important lesson was about recognising the face and power of True Love and letting it manifest itself beautifully…I realised ..

Love is never bound by rules and conditions, It never insists on following a set path , it is verily like the vivacious stream which insists on making its own path but finally seeks solace in the Ocean….

Love never ends at making only a single soul happy but insists on residing in the hearts of many…It is meant to be shared and not hoarded as a possession…And finally Love finds itself most happy when it is given to all, for then it manifests itself completely and chooses to rest within our souls eternally :)

It does so in mine whenever I bid goodbyes to jealousy, possessiveness and selfish self gratification and choose to put a smile on other’s faces irrespective of my desires….Thats a tall order, I know but Love does rule..and is the greatest ruler of Hearts :)

And whenever I found myself dejected and bitter it was because I forgot to look within me for Love and desired for it from every one who came in contact with me…Its so easy to play the blame game, mess up God’s gifted relationships, waste a lifetime in expectation of this beautiful thing called Love and its so difficult to give that blessed thing freely to others, isn’t it?!

Some say Love is the razor, that leaves your soul to bleed…Some say Love is the river that drowns the tender reed, some say Love is the hunger which is the aching endless need…I say Love is the Flower and you , its only seed :)

We all need Love, the heart that needs no love isn’t sent into this world. Love has no errors for all errors are only because of the want of Love!

So often I feel lost and caught in a world of complex emotions, where Goodness appears clothed in the robes of a barter transaction…wherein you give something in exchange or return of something and all your love and compassion goes right out of the window!

That’s exactly where He takes your crucial examination and if you fail in giving what you should be you end up battering and bruising your soul.

What’s the harm in returning Love for hate and Bitterness with compassion, for a change lets be a good kid of His. Ultimately in the end its not going to be between you and that person but between you and Him :)

Lets make this a New Year resolution.

The greatest thing is to Love Him and His entire Creation truly, madly and deeply …For then He.... A huge Sweetheart makes sure that we are cuddled and hugged :)

Love is the bridge God takes to walk from that side to this side…

Are we ready to welcome Him with loving hearts?

Are we ready to hug Him?
